JSON Copilot

Projects — Save & Organize Your Work

February 2026

Feature Productivity

Save your JSON content, schemas, output, and AI history into named projects. Switch between projects from the sidebar and pick up right where you left off.

What's Saved in a Project?

Each project stores everything related to a particular JSON workflow:

  • JSON Input: The raw JSON you pasted or typed into the editor
  • Formatted Output: The current formatted/minified result
  • JSON Schema: Any schema you've written or generated for validation
  • AI Copilot History: All AI requests and results for this project
  • Name & Description: Give your project a meaningful name and optional description

How to Use Projects

  1. 1Sign in to your account
  2. 2Click New Project in the sidebar or the project selector in the header
  3. 3Give it a name and start working — your data auto-saves
  4. 4Switch between projects from the sidebar project list at any time
  5. 5Rename or edit a project by clicking the pencil icon next to the project name

Project Limits

The number of projects you can create depends on your subscription plan. Free accounts get a limited number of projects, while paid plans offer more. You can always delete old projects to make room for new ones.

Good to Know

  • Cloud-Synced: Projects are stored on our servers and available on any device where you sign in.
  • No Account Required for Basics: You can still use JSON Copilot without signing in — your data is stored locally in the browser. Projects are an upgrade for users who want persistence and multi-device access.
  • AI History Per Project: Each project keeps its own AI Copilot history, so your results stay organized.
