Accounts Billing

JSON Copilot now supports user accounts with Google OAuth and email magic links. Sign up to unlock projects, AI Copilot features, and credit-based plans.

Sign Up & Sign In

Creating an account is quick and free. You can sign in with:

  • Google OAuth: One click — uses your existing Google account
  • Email Magic Link: Enter your email and click the link we send you — no password to remember

New accounts receive free signup credits so you can try AI features right away.

Subscription Plans

JSON Copilot offers several plans to match your usage:

  • Free: Basic access with signup credits — perfect for trying things out
  • Mini: A lightweight monthly plan with a small credit allocation
  • Starter, Pro, Ultra: Higher-volume plans with more credits per month and additional project slots

All paid plans are billed monthly through Paddle, our payment partner. You can cancel any time from your account settings.

Credit Packs

Need more credits on top of your plan? You can purchase one-time credit packs at any time to top up your balance. Credit packs are available to all subscribers and are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

How Credits Work

  • Each AI action (Explain, Fix, Test Data, etc.) costs a certain number of credits based on input size
  • You see the estimated cost before running an action
  • If actual usage is lower than estimated, the difference is automatically refunded
  • Your balance is visible in the sidebar at all times
  • Credits expire 6 months from issuance

Payments & Billing

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, sales tax, and VAT. We never see or store your credit card details.

You can manage your subscription, view invoices, and request refunds through your account settings or through Paddle's buyer portal (accessible from your receipt email).

Good to Know

  • No Account Required: Core features (formatting, validation, minification, tree view, schema checking) work without an account and without credits. Accounts are only needed for AI features and projects.
  • Cancel Anytime: Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
